Section 3 - Configuration
This page will allow you to upgrade the router's firmware, either automatically or manually. To manually upgrade the firmware, you must first
download the file from http://support.dlink.com/DIR-882-US.
From the Management menu, click Upgrade.
Firmware Displays the Current Firmware Version and Current Firmware Date.
Information:
Check for New Click Check for New Firmware to prompt the router to check for a new
Firmware: firmware version. If a newer version is found, you will be prompted to
install it*.

Upgrade

If you prefer to upgrade manually, first download the firmware file to
Firmware: your computer that you wish to upgrade to. Next, click the Select File
button and browse to locate the file and install the new firmware.
*Note: When you click Check for New Firmware you will see a message
that says, "Checking". If what you have currently installed is the latest version,
you will see a message that says, "This firmware is the latest version".
