Introduction

This manual describes the procedure for
upgrading the firmware in the DDS 5900 system.
Note: The upgrade utility 'MXC Firmware
Upgrade Utility' (FUU) is used for both the DDS
5900 System and the MXC/DCS6000 System.
And the procedure for upgrading the DDS 5900
system is the same as for the MXC/DCS6000
system. This manual is therefore a condensed
version of the 'Upgrade Manual MXC & DCS 6000'
omitting descriptions of facilities which are not
relevant for the DDS 5900 system.
