Driving your vehicle
僅 There is a boundary structure in the
roadway.
僅 The light of street, sun, oncoming
vehicle and so on reflects from the
water on the road.
僅 When light shines brightly in the
reverse direction you drive.
僅 Road surface is not even.
僅 The distance from the vehicle ahead
is very short or the vehicle ahead
drives hiding the lane line or road
edge.
僅 You drive on a steep grade or a sharp
curve.
僅 The vehicle vibrates heavily.
僅 The temperature near inside mirror is
very high due to direct sun light and
etc.
When front visibility is poor
僅 The lens or windshield is covered by
strange materials.
僅 The sensor cannot detect the lane
because of fog, heavy rain or snow.
僅 The windshield is fogged by humid air
in the vehicle.
僅 Putting something on the crash pad
and etc.
WARNING
Lane Keeping Assist is a function to help
prevent the driver from leaving the lane.
However, the driver should not solely
rely on the function but always take the
necessary actions for safe driving prac-
tices.

When there is a problem with the
function do one of the following:
僅 Turn the function on after turning the
vehicle off and on again.
僅 Check if the vehicle is in ON position.
僅 Check if the function is affected by
the weather. (ex: fog, heavy rain, etc.)
僅 Check if there is foreign matter on the
camera lens
If the problem is not solved, have the
function checked by a professional
workshop. Kia recommends to visit an
authorized Kia dealer/service partner.
