僅 Never reach through the steering
wheel for the ignition switch, or any
other control, while the vehicle is in
motion. The presence of your hand or
arm in this area may cause a loss of
vehicle control resulting in an acci-
dent.
僅 Do not place movable objects by the
driver's seat. Not only does it interfere
with driving, but it could also cause an
accident.
僅 To avoid unexpected or sudden vehi-
cle movement, never leave your vehi-
cle if the gear is not locked in the P
(Park) position and the parking brake
is fully engaged. Before leaving the
driver's seat, always make sure the
gear is shifted to P (Park) position, set
the parking brake fully and shut the
engine off.
NOTICE
If you leave the ignition switch to the
ACC or ON position for a long time, the
battery may discharge.
ENGINE START/STOP button (if
equipped)

Operation
僅 OFF
- Press the ENGINE START/STOP
button in P to turn the vehicle off.
僅 ACC (Accessory)
- Press the ENGINE START/STOP
button once without depressing the
brake pedal.
- The electrical accessories can be
operated.
- Turns off automatically after
approximately 1 hour to prevent
battery discharge.
僅 ON
- Press the ENGINE START/STOP
button twice without depressing
the brake pedal.
- The warning lights can be checked.
僅 START/RUN
- Press the ENGINE START/STOP
button while depressing the brake
pedal in P (Park).
- Start the engine in P for the safety.
WARNING
僅 Never press the ENGINE START/STOP
button while the vehicle is in motion.
This would result in loss of directional
control and braking function, which
could cause an accident.
僅 Before leaving the driver's seat,
always make sure the gear is shifted
