Pull up the drum unit lever, and remove the drum unit.
Note The drum unit is sensitive to light. Never expose the drum unit to light for more than five minutes.

Turn the drum unit gear by hand while looking at the surface of the drum roller.

Wipe the surface of the drum gently with a dry cotton swab until the dust or glue on the surface comes off.
Note Do not use alcohol or any solvents when cleaning.
