Using the Soft Case
Keep the camera in its soft case to protect it when not in use.
Make sure the lens is facing
up and the monitor screen is
facing down.
If you want to hang the camera
from your shoulder while it is in
the soft case, pass the
shoulder strap through the hole
in the side of the case.
UNPACKING
The pocket inside the soft case
can be used to store the wired
remote controller and memory
cards.
Using the Wired Remote Controller
The wired remote controller that comes with the camera can
be used to control the camera. When using a slow shutter
speed or telephoto, you can avoid blurring of the image due
to camera movement by mounting the camera on a tripod
and using the wired remote controller to trigger the record
operation. You can also use remote control for playback dur-
ing presentations.
