Revelator io44 works when connected directly to iOS/iPadOS devices like iPads, though you should be
aware of the following:

When connected to iPad Pro tablets with USB-C ports, Revelator io44 will function as intended without
additional power or direct connect. However, there's no way to charge the iPad while Revelator io44 is
connected.
