TAKING STILL PICTURES

You can take still pictures simply by pressing the shutter button as you look
at the monitor.
The recorded picture will be stored on the card if you have inserted one, or in
the internal memory if you have not inserted a card.

Press the power switch.
• The camera turns on in the shooting mode.
• The lens extends and the monitor turns on.
• The orange lamp lights.

Turn the mode dial to select

Position the AF target mark on the subject while looking at
the monitor and decide on composition.

Press the shutter button gently (halfway) to adjust the
focus.
• When the focus and exposure are locked, the green lamp on the
monitor lights steadily (Focus Lock).
• When the flash is ready to fire, the

Press the shutter button all the way (fully).
• The camera takes the picture.
• The orange lamp blinks while the picture is being stored in the internal
memory or on the card. The next shot is available when the orange
lamp stops blinking.
