    190 Series III Service Manual Equipment Requirements for Verification The primary source instrument used in the verification procedures is the Fluke 5502A. If a 5502A is not available, you can substitute another calibrator as long as it meets the minimum test requirements.

    ScopeMeter® Test Tool Performance Verification Menu Navigation During verification you must open menus and choose items from the menu. To make choices in a menu: 1. Reset the Test Tool. 2. Open a menu, for example, press and press (READING …). The menu shown in Figure 1 opens.

The Test Tool allows closed-case calibration with known reference sources. It measures the reference signals, calculates the correction factors, and stores the correction factors in RAM. When the calibration is complete, the correction factors can be stored in FlashROM.
