2. Attaching ferrite cores between the PCMCIA Card and the PCMCIA Card
Unit can reduce noise from the network. Attach one ferrite core near the Unit
and another near the card, as shown in the following diagram.
Note We recommend one of the following ferrite cores.

The CompoBus/D Configurator has 2 modes: online and offline.
• In online mode the Configurator is connected to the CompoBus/D network and
communicating in the network.
• In offline mode the Configurator can be used even if it isn't connected to the
CompoBus/D network.
