Principles of pedal maintenance
Pedal maintenance procedures for the Disklavier MK III Grand Piano are basically the same as for the
existing Disklavier II Grand Piano.

Adjustment for pedal cap nut (Acoustic adjustment)
Standard: 2mm (0.08 in) of space between damper lifting rail and damper levers
Adjustment for capstan button screw (Acoustic adjustment)
Standard: Damper felts are lifted off at 4-5mm (about 0.1in) from strings 1-2mm
(0.04-0.08in) of solenoid gap when the pedal is fully depressed.

Standard: Mute time = 1.5sec

Standard: Lever stops as the same time the key frame quits moving.
