INTRODUCTION

This handbook covers maintenance for the DISKLAVIER MARK III series, released in April 2000. The
Mark III machines are all-in-one models similar to the MARK II XG Grand Piano but with a number of new
features and units included.
Although basic maintenance is the same as for the MARK II XG series, please be sure to read though this
new handbook carefully as specifications for some parts have changed and new units have been added.

FEATURES

The MARK III series product line is a simplified reorganization of the MARK II XG Grand Piano product
line. Mark III models are arranged in accordance with acoustic models as shown below.
