The program selector dial allows a wash program to be selected. It can be turned either clockwise or
anti-clockwise. (See "Program Table" for more details about the wash programs).
Pressing this button changes the wash water temperature according to the kind of fabrics,
colorfasteness and dirt level. (See "Washing hints" for more details).
Note: Select a wash water temperature according to fiber content, colourfastness and dirt level. For
best results, follow the care label instructions and use the hottest water safe for the fabric.
Press this button:
• to change the spin speed, if you want your laundry to be spun at a speed different from the one
automatically proposed by the appliance or
• to select RINSE HOLD or NO SPIN option.
The relevant light lights up.
RINSE HOLD: By selecting this option the water of the last rinse is not emptied out to prevent the
fabrics from creasing. When the program has finished, the door is blocked to indicate that the water
must be emptied out. To empty out the water, please read the step "At the end of the program" on
page 9.
NO SPIN: This option eliminates all the spin phases and increases the number of rinses in some
programs.
By pressing this button you can select one of the following options:
BUZZ VOLUME: If you select this option, an acoustic signal will sound when setting a wash
program, in case of wrong selection, in the event of operating problems and at the end of the
program. This signal has a three-level-adjustable volume or can be turned off. Choose the desired
volume level or turn it off by pressing the Select button.
EASY IRON: By selecting this option the laundry is gently washed and spun to avoid any creasing
making ironing easier. Furthermore the appliance will perform some additional rinses in some
programs.
EXTRA RINSE: This appliance is designed for saving water. However, for people with very sensitive
skin (allergic to detergents) it may be necessary to rinse the laundry using an extra quantity of water.
ECO: Saving energy and consumption option. Only for cotton and synthetic items lightly or normally
soiled at a temperature of 40°C or higher. The washing time will be prolonged and the washing
temperature will be reduced.
By pressing this button you can confirm or delete the options selected by pressing the Options
button.
This button gives you the option to select or de-select the following dirt level programs:
QUICK: By selecting this option the wash duration decreases. The display will show the shortenedd
washing time. To be used for lightly soiled laundry only. We recommend reducing the laundry load
with this program (for more details see "Program table").
DAILY/NORMAL: By selecting this button the wash duration decreases. To be used for normally
soiled laundry.
HEAVY/INTENSIVE: By selecting this option the wash duration increases.
