4.6 Shutting the stove down (end of
season)
At the end of season, before placing the stove in
storage, we recommend completely removing
pellets from the hopper with the use of a vacuum
cleaner with an extension.
In the period when the stove is out of use it
must be disconnected from the electricity
mains. For greater safety, especially
if there are children around, we
recommend removing the supply
cable from the rear of the stove.
If the stove is removed form its place of
installation (during the warm seasons) it MUST
be placed in a location that is protected from
atmospheric agents.
When the batteries supplied with the remote control

in the remote control
are discharged, they must be replaced with those of
the same format (n.2 AA 1.5V). Generally this
operation must be carried out at the start of every
season (and at all events after 2000 hours). Remove
the cover from the remote, take out the batteries and
insert the new ones, taking care not to twist the wires
of the battery connector (Fig. 36). Dispose of the
dead batteries in accordance with current local
regulations.
If pressing the the main switch (located on the

main switch
back of the stove) does not make the control
panel display light up, it could mean that the
service fuse needs replacing.
ATTENTION: disconnect the electricity supply
cable.
On the rear of the stove there is a fuse holding
compartment which is located underneath the
supply socket. With a screwdriver open the cover
of the fuse holding compartment, and replace
the fuse if necessary (3.15 AT delayed type).
