Trouble Problem
Will not start Power cord is not plugged in.
Fuse or circuit breaker tripped.
Cord damaged.
Burned out switch.
Tool does not Extension cord too light or too
come up to long.

Excessive Tile blade out of balance.

Tile blade bolt not tight.

Turn switch "OFF" and always remove plug from the power source before
trouble shooting.
Remedy
Plug in.
Replace fuse or reset tripped circuit
breaker.
Have cord replaced by an Authorized Skil
Service Center or Service Station.
Have switch replaced by an Authorized
Skil Service Center or Service Station.
Replace with adequate cord.
Contact your electric company.
Discard tile blade and use different one,
see page 16.
