1-9. Circuit Description

BVE-700A processor unit
(1) CA-67 Board
The CA-67 board performs the following processes as part
of its chief functions.
. Generates clock and timing signals synchronized to a
reference and sends them to each board
. RS-422 communication
. RS-232 communication
. ETHERNET communication
. GPI input/output
. BVE system overall control
The sub board (CPU-DT module board) on the CA-67
board is the center of operations and synchronously
controls the BVE system with the REF VIDEO signal
input from the external device.
The sub board (SG-272 board) on the CA-67 board
generates the clock and timing signals, and the sub board
(SIO-26 board, 2 pieces) on the CA-67 board performs RS-
422 communication.
(2) CN-2836 Board
The following connectors are located on the rear of the
connector board.
REF VIDEO IN (Looping through), EDL, GPI, PANEL,
NETWORK
(3) CN-2835 Board
The following connectors are located on the rear of the
connector board.
SWER, MIXER, RECORDER, PLAYER-1, PLAYER-2,
PLAYER-3
(4) OUT-28B Board (BKE-701A)
The OUT-28B board supports the BVE-700A built-in
Switcher function.

the HD SDI 5-input/3-output.
