1-6-1. Periodic Replacement Parts
The following parts must be periodically replaced.
The replacement time shown in the following table is not the guarantee term of parts.
The replacement time of parts varies depending on the operating environment and conditions of the unit.

1-6-2. Cleaning
1. Filter
The filter on the rear of the front panel can easily accumu-
late the dust. Be sure to remove dust by cleaning as
follows.
1. Remove the front panel. (Refer to Section 1-2-1.)
2. Remove the dust accumulated on the filter with a
vacuum cleaner.

Cleaning the filter by washing in water is recommend-
ed when there is a heavy accumulation of dust.
Be sure to dry the filter completely after it has been
washed.

Be sure to set the POWER switch to OFF and unplug the
power cord before starting cleaning of the fans to protect
inside of the machine from damage.
If the replacement work is attempted with the power ON,
this may result in electric shock or damage of circuits.

Remarks
After replacement, set the CLOCK SET
data again.
On side
Processor is air-cooled by a fan (on side).
If dust has accumulated in the intake of the fan, air is
prevented from flowing smoothly and this may result in a
temperature rise inside the machine.
This may have an adverse effect on performance and the
life of the machine.
Cleaning of the fan every month is recommended.
Ordinary cleaning
Remove the dust that is attached to the fan and its peripher-
al area with a vacuum cleaner.
When dust is hard to remove or equipment is
heavily stained
1. Remove the fan. (Refer to Section 1-3-2.)
2. Clean the fan frame and blades with the cleaning cloth
moistened with cleaning liquid.
