5. Explanation of Test Items
The following section explains each of the test items.
1. Auto test 1
BVE-700A
1. Battery backup RAM(4MB) write/verify test
This item tests SRAM With SUPER Capacitor 4 MB on the CA-67 board.
It checks that the test data for the data line and address line in the specified area is
written and read.
It checks that the lower 8 bits of the address for the whole area are written and read.
When the following message appears after running the Manual test, press the Return
key to return to the selection menu.
1.Battery backup RAM(4MB) write/verify test -- !! OK !!
PUSH RETURN KEY
When an error is detected, the error contents appear with the NG display as shown
below.

Faults
When this test is NG, there may be defects on IC701 to 708 on the CA-67 board.
Check the wiring for the peripherals and check whether parts are loose.
2. Battery backup RAM(32KB) write/verify test
This item tests Time Keeper SRAM 32KB on the CA-67 board.
It checks that the test data for the data line and address line in the specified area is
written and read.
It checks that the lower 8 bits of the address for the whole area are written and read.
When the following message appears after running the Manual test, press the Return
key to return to the selection menu.
2.Battery backup RAM(32KB) write/verify test - !! OK !!
