Diagnostics

This paragraph provides the procedures for testing the equipment for proper operation.
Four tests are provided: Memory I/O test, Keyboard test, Remote controller test, and Test
pattern.

8.8.1 Memory I/O test

The memory I/O test provides for individual testing of the processor unit, control unit,
FURUNO BB GPS receiver, Network Sounder ETR-6/10N, ETR-30N and ARP, displaying
program number and checking for proper operation.
1. Press the MENU key to show the menu.
2. Press the E: SYSTEM CONFIGURATION soft key.
3. Press the C: SYSTEM SETUP soft key.
4. Press the B: TEST & CLEAR soft key.
5. Press the A: MEMORY I/O TEST soft key.
7. Then, press appropriate soft key to start a diagnostic test.
