1.3.2 Completing Sanitize on a Device Using the OCGUI
This task provides steps that should be followed to complete the sanitizing procedure on a storage device
using the OCGUI. This feature provides two options for securely sanitizing the storage device:
• Block Erase will delete the mapping table and erase all of the blocks that have been written to the
device.
• Cryptographic Erase (fastest option) will delete the encryption key which will result in making the
data unrecoverable.
Step 1 : Enter a valid username and password, and click the Login button:
