Eliminating minor faults yourself
Before you call customer service:
Please check whether you can eliminate the fault yourself based on the following
information.
Customer service will charge you for advice, even if the appliance is stil! under
guarantee!
Fault
Temperature differs greatly
from the set value.
The light does not function.

The temperature in the
refrigerator compartment is
too cold.
Oisplays do not illuminate.
The temperature in the
freezer compartment is
too warm.

Possible cause
Light switch is sticking.
The light (LED) is defective.
Colder temperatures in the
freezer compartment may also
resuıt in colder temperatures in
the refrigerator compartment.
This is a consequence of
refrigeration.
Power failure; the fuse has been
switched off; the mains plug has
not been inserted properly.
• Freezer compartment door
is open.
• The ventilation openings are
blocked.
• Too much food was placed in
freezer compartment at
once.
Remedial action
in some cases it is adequate to
switch off the appliance tor
5 minutes.
the temperature is too high, wait

a few hours and check whether the
temperature has approached the
set value.
the temperature is too low, check

the temperature again the next day.

Slightly increase the temperature in
the refrigerator compartment.
this is not adequate, e.g. because

ambient temperatures are too cold,
also increase the temperature in the
freezer compartment.
Check whether the power is on,
the fuse must be switched on.
Close the door.
Ensure that there is adequate
ventilation.
Do not exceed freezing
capacity.
