Note ambient

ventilation
The climatic class can be found on the
rating plate and specifies the ambient
temperatures at which the appliance
may be operated.

The appliance is fully functional within
the room temperature limits
of the indicated climatic class. lf
an appliance of climatic class SN
is operated at colder room temperatures,
the appliance will not be damaged up to
a temperature of +5 °C.

The air at the back of the appliance will
heat up. This warm air must be allowed to
freely escape, otherwise the refrigerating
machine must perform more. This raises
electricity consumption. Hence, the
air-inlet and outlet apertures should never
be covered or blocked off!
We recommend a distance of 70 mm
from the back wall.

Switching on the
appliance
Press the On/Off buttan. Fig. 0/12
A warning signal sounds, "AL" flashes on
the freezer compartment display.
Press the "alarm" buttan.
The warning signal switches off.
Display "alarm" goes out when the
appliance has reached the set freezer
compartment temperature.
When the appliance has been switched
on, it may take several hours until the set
temperatures have been reached. Do not
put any food in the appliance beforehand.
Operating tips
• The fully automatic Nofrost system
keeps the freezer compartment and
refrigerator compartment free of ice.
Defrosting is no required.
• The sides of the housing are sometimes
heated slightly. This prevents conden­
sation in the area of the door seal.

you cannot open the freezer compart­
ment door immediately after closing it,
wait 2-3 minutes until the partial
vacuum has equalised.
