    If the Duty Cycle is exceeded, and the built-in Breaker is tripped, allow the unit to cool for a minimum of 15 minutes.   • Page 15 OVERLOAD PROTECTION The Eastwood MIG 180 Welder is equipped with an overload protection. This device will protect the Welder if the duty cycle is exceeded. If the output is exceeded, the breaker will trip, the RED Overtemp Indicator will illuminate and cut off the power supply to the drive motor and MIG Gun although the fan will still run to cool the unit.
  • Page 16 • Electric welding heats metal and tools to temperatures that will cause severe burns! • Use protective, heat resistant gloves and clothing when using Eastwood or any other welding equipment. Never touch welded work surface, MIG Gun tip or nozzle until they have completely cooled.

    SET-UP FOR SPOOL GUN WELDING The included Eastwood Spool Gun allows for easy feeding of aluminum wire to expand the MIG 180 welding capabilities. A cylinder of 100% Argon Gas (not included) from a local welding supplier is also required.
