Upgrading the Player's Firmware

You can update the player's firmware, allowing you to add new features to the
player by installing the latest player's firmware to the player. For details about
the latest firmware information and how to install it, visit the customer support
web sites (  page 73).

Download the update program to your computer from the web
sites.

Connect the player to your computer, and then start up the update
program.

Follow the on-screen instructions to update the player's firmware.
Firmware update is complete.
 Hint
 Version information for the player's firmware can be displayed by selecting
 "Information" from the HOME menu (  page 48).
