Data transfer

To use the PC software with files stored in the Verificator, communication must be established
and data transferred between the PC and the Verificator.
Connect the Verificator via RS 232 port or by using an USB adaptor to a PC with installed
verification software (Installation of PC software (Page 17)).
During the transfer of data the Verificator must have a supply voltage either via an AC mains
supply cable or via the DC supply cable for 12 - 24 V DC operation.
The supply can also be via adaptor as described under Connecting (Page 7).
Communication with the SITRANS F M MAGFLO Verificator is only possible when the "select
file name" menu as shown is displayed.
If the file names have been changed, the new names will be displayed in the top menu.
Select file name:

Double click the SITRANS F M MAGFLO icon to run the SITRANS F M MAGFLO Verificator
program.
The following is displayed:
Select the communication port connected to the RS 232 cable/USB adaptor and click "OK".
Communication commences and after a short time the following is displayed:
SITRANS F M Verificator
