Removal of Existing Starter

WARNING
Hazardous Voltage!
Disconnect all electric power, including remote
disconnects before servicing. Follow proper lockout/
tagout procedures to ensure the power can not be
inadvertently energized. Failure to disconnect power
before servicing could result in death or serious injury.
The following components of an Wye -Delta starter need
to be removed prior to installing the RediStart starter:

shows the basic layout of the Wye-Delta
starter with the components that need to be removed
highlighted.
Note: If the optional voltage/current meters are mounted
on the cabinet door, they must be removed for the
new starter to fit properly. Once the meters are
removed, block-off plates can be obtained locally.
