Vacuum cleaner won't turn on
Possible causes

Power cord not firmly plugged in
Vacuum cleaner won't pick up dirt

Crack or hole in hose

WARNING:
To reduce the risk of electric
shock, turn power OFF and dis-
connect plug from electrical
outlet before performing
maintenance or troubleshooting.
Remedies
1. Check electrical plug
Remedies
1. Adjust powerfoot to correct height setting
2. Grasp Quick Release handle and firmly push
hose wand onto the suction opening.
3. Make sure Twist 'n Snap hose is snapped
into locked position
4. Check hose and replace if needed
5. Replace drive belt, see page 11
6. Replace brush
7. Remove brush and clean debris from brush ends
8. Follow instructions for clearing clogs on page 12
9. Empty dirt container
10. Position correctly and lock in place
11.Check and clean inner and outer circular filters and ,
pre-motor filter, replace post-motor filter
12. Check for a clog in the tube in the center of the dirt
container, clear and properly install primary separator
Remedies
1. Check hose and replace if needed
2. Follow instructions for clearing clogs on page 12
3. Empty dirt container
4. Position correctly and lock in place
5. Check and clean inner and outer circular filters and ,
pre-motor filter, replace post-motor filter
6. Check for a clog in the tube in the center of the dirt
container, clear and properly install primary separator
