This data can be obtained from satellite
magazines or from your dealer.
B) In the "High band" menu, indicate
whether it is possible to switch from low to
high band using your satellite aerial.
C) In the "LNC frequency(ies)" menu, set
the oscillator frequency for the LNC. The
correct display of the reception frequency in
the "Set channels manually" menu depends
on this.
The frequency can be altered
using the right/left arrows on
the ring.
Note
The oscillator frequency is given in the LNC
description or on the LNC, e.g. 9.75 GHz (9750
MHz) or 10.6 GHz (10600 MHz).
Confirm your entries using the OK button and
this will take you to the "Align/Pre-
program" menu,

if you can receive from two or more
satellites...
A) In the "Satellite System" menu, select
the aerial switch corresponding to your
satellite system.
The TV set supports:
2 satellites on 22 kHz switch
2 satellites on sound burst switch
4 satellites on DiSEqC switch

Note
With "Common satellite system", no
LNC power supply voltage is supplied by the
"SAT A/D" socket.
B) In the "Satellites on switch" menu,
select, for example, Astra for "Sat. 1" and
Hotbird (13° east) for "Sat. 2", etc.
C) In the "LNC frequency(ies)" menu, set
the corresponding oscillator frequency for
each LNC.
D) In the "Align/pre-program" menu, you
should now be able to receive a TV channel
using an aerial directed at the satellite.
Note
TV channels have already been pre-
programmed for the Astra, Hotbird (13°
east) and Telecom 2B satellites, as have
analogue satellite radio stations for Astra.
Align/preprogram
You should now have a good
reception from the
following satellite:
Sat. 1 ASTRA
If not, please aling your
antenna correctly
Preprogramming
Preprog. radio
Align,
O K
select and
continue with OK
If you want to make use of this pre-
programming, select "Preprogramming
yes". If you select "Pre-program Radio no",
then a search will not be made for satellite
radio stations.
E) In the "Automatic channel search"
menu an overview is given of the settings
made to this point.
Select the line "Change settings" if you
want to correct the settings.
After you have confirmed with OK, the "TV
Location" menu is displayed again, etc.
F) If everything has been set correctly, start
programming by selecting "Perform
search" and confirm with the
OK button.
Once the channel search and save is
complete, the channel preview is displayed.

For the following settings, you will need the
corresponding information on the parameters
of the channels transmitted by the satellite.
– Select the line "Other".
– Confirm with OK.
– Indicate whether your aerial system can
also receive high band.

Satellites can transmit channels in the low
band and the high band.

– the "Standard" (transmission standard)
If you select "Automatic", then a search will
be made for broadcasting stations with the
PAL, SECAM and NTSC standards. You can
also search for a broadcasting station with
a specific standard, e.g. SECAM.
– the "Amplitude"; normally "Amplitude
Autom." is selected. For encoded channels,
it may be necessary to set another
amplitude value, e.g. 4.
