Step 3: TV Hookups

Connect the supplied audio/video cord and power cord in the order (1~3) shown below. Be
sure to connect the power cord last.

When connecting to a standard 4:3 screen TV
Depending on the disc, the image may not fit your TV screen.
If you want to change the aspect ratio, please refer to page 65.
To change the color system
The color system of the player is set to NTSC or PAL. If the on-screen menu of the player does
not appear on the TV, change the color system of the player to the same color system (PAL or
NTSC) of your TV. To change the color system, hold POWER down while pressing X on the
player. The power indicator lights up in green and changes to red. Then release X.
zThis player switches the color system, PAL or NTSC, according to the connected TV. To check the color system
of the player, press POWER on the player and then press [/1 on the remote. The power indicator lights up in green.
When "NTSC" appears on the front panel display, the color system of the player is set to NTSC. When "NTSC" does
not appear, the color system is set to PAL.
