Lens hood
Rotate the lens hood
counter-clockwise A to remove it. In
order to attach it, place into slot B,
and then rotate it clockwise C.

≥ When fitting the tele conversion lens
(VW-T3714H; optional) or the wide conversion
lens (VW-W3707H; optional), first remove the
lens hood.
(Refer to the operating instructions for the tele
conversion lens or the wide conversion lens.)
Tripod receptacle
The tripod receptacle is a hole used to mount a
tripod for the unit. Use of Panasonic's VW-CT45
(optional) standard tripod is recommended. (For
details on mounting the tripod, refer to the
operating instructions for the tripod.)

≥ You can perform operations easily using the
remote control when the tripod is used. (l 22)
≥ The SD card/battery cover cannot be opened
when the tripod is used. Insert an SD card and
the battery before attaching this unit to the

Using the LCD monitor

You can record the image while viewing it on the
LCD monitor.

Press the LCD OPEN button and
then open the LCD monitor.

≥ It can open up to 90o.
≥ Place this unit level and then press the
LCD OPEN button. Depending on the angle of
this unit, the LCD monitor may not open
automatically. In this case, open it with your
hand.
