Limitations
• Clips of duration of 1 second or less
cannot be played seamlessly.
• Seamless playback is not possible if the
playback start position or playback mode
change position occurs within 1 second
prior to the playback end point.
• A region between an IN point and OUT
point may not be played seamlessly,
depending on the format of the clip.
• If frame advance or frame reverse
operation is initiated just before switching
files, file switching may occur and
playback will move to the start of the next
file.
• Seamless playback is not supported on
media in devices, such as the PDW-U2,
where a finite time is required to switch
between files.
Reverse Playback (1×)
Mode
You can play files in reverse at 1× speed.
Press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button
and press the PREV button.
Connecting External
Storage on Rear Panel
An EXT2 connector has been added to the
rear panel. It can be used in the same way as
the EXT connector on the front panel.
• The indicator is lit while the connector is
in use.
• To disconnect external storage, press the
UNMOUNT button on the front panel.
• The EXT connector and EXT2 connector
cannot be used at the same time.
Switching the 4K Format
Transport Method
You can switch the output signal for the
output monitor using [SDI MODE] in the
menu.
