End a connection

To end the connection and view the browser page
offline, select
Options
Advanced options
>
Disconnect, or to end the connection and close the
browser, select
Options
> Exit.
Clear the cache
A cache is a memory location that is used to store data
temporarily. If you have tried to access or have accessed
confidential information requiring passwords, empty
the cache after each use. The information or services
you have accessed are stored in the cache.
To clear the cache, select
Options
Advanced
>
options
Clear
cache.

Define the following:
Access point
— Scroll to the access point to connect
to Web pages, and press the joystick.
Load imgs. & sounds
— Select

to download pages
faster by not loading the images on the page. Select
Yes
to load images with the Web pages.
Font size
— Select the desired font size for Web page
text, and OK.
Default encoding
— Scroll to the correct character
encoding for your language. Select OK. Settings
available for editing may vary. To save the settings,
select OK.
Auto. bookmarks
— Select
save Web page addresses that you visit in the
bookmarks
folder. To hide the folder, select
folder
> OK.

Screen size
— Select
Full screen
display area for viewing Web pages.
Homepage
— Select the page that you want to
appear as your homepage. Select
access point homepage,
homepage address, or
currently open Web page as your homepage.
Search page
— Enter the Web address of the search
page that you want to open when you select

— Select
By quality
quality while browsing but at a slower download
speed or
By speed
to download pages faster but
have lower image quality.
Cookies
— Select
Allow
the sending and receiving of cookies. Cookies are
information the network server collects about your
visits to various Web pages. For example, they are
necessary if you shop on the Web because they
retain the items in your shopping cart until you reach
the cashier page. However, the information may be
misused, for example, you may receive unwanted
advertisements on your device.
Java/ECMA script
— Some Web pages include
program commands that affect the appearance of
the page or interaction between the page and its
browsers. To deny the use of such scripts (for
example, if you have trouble downloading), select
Disabled.
