SMART KEY BATTERY REPLACE-
MENT (For PEPS Variant)
Procedure
1. Open rear side of key (battery cover).
2. Replace with new battery with proper
polarity in the smart key battery
3. Close the battery cover.
4. Ensure that the key cover is intact
properly.
NOTE
Use CR 2032 battery only.
An inappropriately disposed battery can
be harmful to the environment and
human health. Dispose the battery ac-
cording to your local law(s) and regula-
tion.

Remote control key contains a battery
which is housed under the cover.
If red LED remote flashes for 5 times after
placing and releasing any button on re-
mote. It is recommended to replace bat-
tery at a TATA MOTORS Authorized EV
Service Centre.
You should, however, proceed as follows
if you wish to replace the discharged bat-
tery yourself:

Open the key blade.
Press off the battery cover with your
thumb or using a flat screw driver at
the points of the arrows.
Remove the discharged battery from
the key by pressing the battery down-
wards at the point of the arrow.
