This Service Bulletin is issued due to the walking belt on the Nautilus
the T912 Treadmill jerking at low miles per hour (mph) workouts.
Parts affected:
• MOTOR CONTROLLER, DC
• MOTOR CONTROLLER, AC 115V
Tools Needed:
• PHILLIPS SCREWDRIVER
• CORDLESS DRILL WITH PHILLIPS BIT
ALWAYS TURN OFF THE FITNESS MACHINE AND
UNPLUG THE POWER CORD FROM THE WALL OUTLET
BEFORE REMOVING OR INSTALLING PARTS TO
AVOID THE RISK OF ELECTROCUTION, SHOCK OR
MECHANICAL INJURY.

Step 1-1: Unscrew two screws located at the bottom of the
right and left Upright weldment (Figure 1). This
makes removal of the Motor cover easier.
Step 1-2: Remove the (2) attaching Motor cover screws
and carefully slide the cover outward and up.
(Figure 2).

Step 2-1: Locate the "IR Comp Pot 3" potentiometer just to
the right of the Transformer "TR1" (Figure 3).
Step 2-2: Place a flat head precision screwdriver into the
center of the potentiometer and slightly turn
counter-clockwise (Figure 4).
Step 2-3: Step up onto the Treadmill and press "Quick
Start" to start the Walking belt moving.
