RAID 1E/10 volume
The RAID 1E/10 supports three to ten disks, or seven mirrored disks plus two hot spare
disks.
Use odd numbers of hard disk drives to create a RAID 1E volume; use even numbers of
hard disk drives to create a RAID 10 volume.
To create a RAID 1E/10 volume:
1.
Turn on the system after installing all SAS hard disk drives.
2.
During POST, press <Ctrl>+<C> to enter the SAS configuration utility.
To avoid data loss, do not turn off the system when rebuilding.
3.
From the Adapter List screen, select an item and press <Enter>.
The number of items displayed depends on the controller.
