Safety Instructions
■ Warning: Unattended cooking on a hob with
fat or oil can be dangerous and may result in
fire. Never try to extinguish a fire with water, but
switch off the appliance and then cover flame
with a lid or a fire blanket.
■ Warning: Danger of fire: do not store items on
the cooking surfaces.
■ Warning: If the surface is cracked, switch off
the appliance to avoid the possibility of electric
shock.
■ Warning: Hob guards have not been designed
for use with this appliance and should not be
fitted under any circumstances.
■ If the oil smokes, immediately turn off the main
power switch. Otherwise, it may catch fire.
■ Take care with hot oil. This may cause burns.
■ Do not use oil preheated by other appliances.
Genius Sensor will not work efficiently and the oil
could ignite.
■ Take care when preheating the pan with small
amounts of oil. The pan may overheat and cause
damage.
■ Caution: The cooking process has to be
supervised. A short term cooking process has to
be supervised continuously.
