TROUBLESHOOTING

Check the following points before asking repair. Contact your dealer or our customer center if the problem still exists after checking.
Not cold.
There is no ice.
Control Panel is not working.
Ice-maker is not working.
It takes a long time to make ice.
There are protrusions on
the ice
Stored ice becomes small.
Ice adhere together.
Small ice is made.
A block of ice cubes is made.
There is white impurity in ice.
Ice tray frame cannot be pulled
out.
If you are not making ice
Not cold enough.
Ice cream is soft.

Symptoms
Has 24 hours passed since the installation?
Has 24 hours passed since the installation?
Is
lit in the Display Section? If yes, the Operation mode is locked.
Is Refrigerator Compartment Door open?
Is " Off " lit on the control panel?
If yes, the " Ice-making " mode has been deactivated.
Is " Water " lit on the control panel? The water in the water supply tank is low.
Is the water in the water supply tank low?
Is the water supply tank inserted fully beyond the " Container set position " line?
Is the frame pushed fully to the back until a click is heard?
Is anything other than ice stored in the ice case?
Is the ice case filled with ice over the limit line of stored ice amount?
Do you open the door frequently or store a large amount of food at one time?
Is the surrounding temperature low?
Did you just changed the setting from " Off " to " On " ?
Are there any food or package stuck inbetween the door of the Freezer or
Ice Compartments preventing the door from closing completely?
Is the " Energy Saving " mode " ON " ?
Did you push them to the back?
Do you open the door frequently or store a large amount of food at one time?
Is any door of the Refrigerator Compartment or the drawers open?
Is the water in the water supply tank low?
Is the frame pushed into the back until a click is heard?
Is the Ice Tray damaged?
Did you use mineral water to make ice?
Is " Off " set?
Are there any food or package stuck inbetween the door preventing the door
from closing completely?
Are the food squeezed together or is there a large amount of food store
at one time?
Is the case in each compartment properly installed?
It may be difficult to cool depending on the location where the refrigerator
is installed, the gaps, and the surrounding conditions.
Is the " Energy Saving " mode activated ?
Is the temperature set to " ■ " ?
Does the temperature around the refrigerator become high due to weather
(e.g. in summer)?
Have you left a door open for a long time or opened or closed it frequently?
Are the indicators on the control panel switching alternatively?

Possible Cause
Cooling may take 24 hours or more. Place food at interval time and refrain
from opening and closing the door within 24 hours. Cooling will take a longer
time during summer or when large amount of food is stored.
As the entire refrigerator is not cooled immediately after installation, it takes
more than 24 hours for the first ice to be made. Place food at appropriate
intervals, refrain from opening and closing a door as much as possible and wait.
Deactivate " Lock " mode.

Remove the food and close the door.
Deactivate the " Energy Saving " mode.
It is frozen water collected in the ice tray groove. It is not a fault.
Keep them horizontally.
Open / close the door quickly or reduce frequency of opening and closing the door.
Close the door completely.
If the water in the tank is low, ice may not be made.
Add water until water level reaches to the " Container-full line " of the water
supply tank.

Is the frame pushed into the back until a click is heard?
A damaged ice tray prevents the removal of ice cubes from the ice tray,
resulting in broken ice cubes or ice cubes adhere together.
Contact your distributor for the replacement of the ice tray.
Water in the groove in the Ice Tray may be frozen and adhere to ice cubes.
This is not a fault.
This is due to the air bubble formed in the ice.
Mineral contained in water may freeze and become white impurity in ice.
It may remain after thawing in water, but it is harmless.
The ice tray cannot be pulled out when the auto ice maker is operating.
Set it to " Off " . When the " Off " indicator lamp is blinking, wait for 1 minute
until " Off " is lit, and then draw the ice tray.
Activate " Off " mode. See " Stop Ice Making " .
Remove food, if any, and close the door.
Ensure the height of the food do not exceed the limit.
Allow spaces inbetween the food in each compartment.
Install them properly.

Check to see if the refrigerator is installed properly.
Deactivate the " Energy Saving " mode.
Switch the temperature setting of the compartment that is not cold to
" ■■ " or " ■■■ " .

Temperature in the refrigerator rises little by little while the door is open. If the door is
opened / closed frequently or left open for a l ong time, temperature will not decrease.
Reduce the frequency of opening and closing of door, or open/close the door quickly.
The refrigerator is in the demo mode. Please deactivate the mode.
