3.3. Replacing a maintenance parts

To avoid print quality and paper feed problems resulting from worn parts and to maintain your machine in top working
condition, the following parts will need to be replaced after printing the specified number of pages or when the life span
of each item has expired.
NOTE
Turn power off and unplug power cord from the wall outlet before any servicing.

3.3.1. Fuser Unit

1. Open the Top cover. Remove 4 screws.
CAUTION
The fuser unit is very hot. So turn the printer off and
wait until the fuser unit to cool before replacing it.
2. Lift up and release the fuser unit while pushing both
levers.
