Remote Control Troubleshooting
Symptoms
1. The remote control
does not have power.
Screen is black and
does not respond to
touches.
2. The remote control is
on, but the toilet fails
to respond.
3. Graphic appears or
does not appear when
the toilet is flushing.
4. The remote control is
frozen and will not
work.

Probable Causes
A. The remote control is not
charged.
B. Docking station is not connected
to the toilet.
C. The remote control has frozen
unexpectedly.
A. The remote control and toilet
are not connected.
A. The flushing graphic is enabled
or disabled.
A. When different options are
selected rapidly before the
previous selection is complete,
it may cause the remote control
to freeze.
Recommended Action
A. Attach the remote control to the docking
station and allow it to charge.
A. Connect the docking station to the back
panel of the toilet.
A. Using a pen or similar item, push the
reset button on the back of the remote
control.
B. Call the Customer Care Center using the
information provided at the back cover.
A. Something (towel, metal object, etc.)
is blocking the remote control signal.
Remove any obstacles between the
remote control and toilet.
B. Remote control is out of connection range
of the toilet. Move the remote control
closer to the toilet.
C. Press and hold the power button on the
back of the toilet, for 2 seconds, to restart
the system.
D. Using a pen or similar item, push the
reset button on the back of the remote
control.
E. Reconnect the toilet using the remote
control and selecting; [settings] >
[maintenance] > [learn remote control],
then following the directions on the
remote control screen.
F. Call the Customer Care Center using the
information provided at the back cover.
A. Disable the flushing graphic using the
remote control and selecting; [settings] >
[feature settings] > [flushing] >
[animated flush]. The check mark and
[animated flush] will appear grey when
the feature is disabled.
B. Using a pen, push the reset button on the
back of the remote control.
C. Call the Customer Care Center using the
information provided at the back cover.
