possible modulation scheme depends on the used radio profile ETSI or FCC.
Valid ranges for the RF680M are:
FCC :
2 = DSB-ASK 40kHz- FM0 40kHz
4 = DSB-ASK 160kHz- FM0 400kHz
6 = PR-ASK
8 = PR-ASK
ETSI:
2 = DSB-ASK 40kHz- FM0 40kHz
5 = DSB-ASK
6 = PR-ASK
7 = PR-ASK
