Early Warning "Area Mail"

Area Mail is a service which allows you to
receive earthquake early warning or tsunami
warning delivered by the Meteorological
Agency, and disaster/evacuation information
delivered by the national government or
local governments without being influenced
by congestion.
Area Mail is a free service for which
subscription is not required.
Area Mail cannot be received in the following
case.
- During a voice call (except for VoLTE voice
calls)
- Out of service area
- While power is off
- During International roaming
- During Airplane mode
- When software is being updated
- When a SIM other than by DOCOMO is
inserted
- While sending/receiving a message (SMS)
Area Mail may not be received when
tethering is set or during packet
communications.
Area Mail (earthquake early warning) that
could not be received cannot be received
later.
Area Mail (tsunami warning, disaster/
evacuation information) can be resent. If you
could not received it, you can receive it again.
Receiving Early Warning "Area
Mail"
A notification content screen appears and
you are notified by dedicated buzzer sound
or dedicated ringtone and vibration.
Beep tone and ring tone sound volume
cannot be changed.
The notification LED blinks only when
backlight is off.
Receive Area Mails automatically.
