Drive Clutch Lever
The drive clutch lever [1] engages and
disengages the transmission.

Shift Lever
The shift lever [1] selects and controls the mower's drive speed.
With the shift lever [1] all the way back
[A]
[A] and the drive clutch lever engaged,
the mower will move slowly or not at all.
Use a slow speed for mowing thick
grass or maneuvering in small areas.
[B]
Use position [B] for maximum self-pro-
pelled speed in large, open areas, and
[1 ]
for transport.
