File/folder structure on the memory card

The memory card file/folder structure is shown below. You do not usually need to
acknowledge the file/ folder structure, when recording/playing back movies and still images
on the camcorder.
* "Memory Stick PRO Duo"
** SD memory card, SDHC memory card, SDXC
memory card
A Image management files
When you delete the files, you cannot record/
play back the images correctly.
The files are defaulted as hidden files and not
usually displayed.
B AVCHD movie management
information folder
This folder contains recording data of
AVCHD movie files. Do not modify the files
or folders on the camcorder from the
computer. Doing so might damage image
files, or prevent image files from being played
back.
Proxy file
C XAVC HD/4K (QFHD) movie
management information folder
This folder contains recording data of XAVC
HD/4K (QFHD) movie files. Do not modify
the files or folders on the camcorder from the
computer. Doing so might damage image
files, or prevent image files from being played
back.
The file numbers increment automatically.
D Camera profiles folder
Stores files saved in a camera profile.
The folder name may vary with the country or
region.
Data in folders with a different folder name
are incompatible (p. 164).
For SD cards:
PRIVATE/SONY/SETTING/model_name
For Memory Stick:
MSSONY/SETTING/model_name
