10.3

Eliminating faults

If fault messages (F.XX) appear, eliminate the fault
by referring to the table in the appendix or using the
function menu (→ Page 28) and the check programmes
(→ Page 18).
Overview of fault codes (→ Page 41)
If several faults occur at the same time, the display shows
the corresponding fault messages for two seconds each in
alternation.
Press
(max. three times) to restart the product.
If you are unable to eliminate the fault and the fault re-
curs despite reset attempts, contact customer service.

Calling up/clearing the fault memory

If faults have occurred, the last ten (max.) fault messages
are available in the fault memory.
Navigate to Menu → Installer level → Fault list and con-
firm by pressing
.
The display shows the number of faults that have
occurred, the fault numbers and the corresponding
plain text display.
Press
or
to call up individual fault messages.
Press
twice to delete the fault list.

Resetting parameters to factory settings

Navigate to Menu → Installer level → Diagnostics

menu → D.096 Reset to factory settings? and con-
firm by pressing

to set the value to 1 and confirm by pressing

Preparing the repair work

1.
Temporarily decommission (→ Page 31) the product.
2.
Disconnect the product from the power mains.
3.
Remove the front casing. (→ Page 9)
4.
Close the service valves in the heating flow, in the heat-
ing return and in the cold water pipe.
5.
Drain the product (→ Page 31) if you want to replace
any of the product's water-bearing components.
6.
Make sure that water does not drip on live components
(e.g. the electronics box).
7.
Use only new seals.
10.6.1 Risk of poisoning caused by flue gases
during maintenance work
Danger!
Risk of poisoning due to escaping flue
gases in overpressurised, multi-occu-
pancy air/flue gas installations.
Only perform maintenance and repair
work after you have shut down all of the
heat generators connected to the air/flue
gas installation.
Use suitable means to seal the air/flue gas
connection for the air/flue gas installation
during maintenance and repair work.

10.6.2 Procuring spare parts
The original components of the product were also certified
by the manufacturer as part of the declaration of conformity.
If you use other, non-certified or unauthorised parts during
maintenance or repair work, this may void the conformity of
the product and it will therefore no longer comply with the
applicable standards.
We strongly recommend that you use original spare parts
from the manufacturer as this guarantees fault-free and safe
operation of the product. To receive information about the
available original spare parts, contact the contact address
provided on the reverse of these instructions.
If you require spare parts for maintenance or repair
work, use only the spare parts that are permitted for the
product.

Replacing defective components

10.7.1 Replacing the burner

Remove the compact thermal module. (→ Page 29)

Remove the burner.

Install a new seal (2) on the new burner.

Install the compact thermal module. (→ Page 30)
