Save all p acking and p rotective m aterials in case you need to ship
the p rinter in the fu tu re. It shou ld alw ays be transp orted in its
original p ackaging or equ ivalent m aterials.

Be sure to remove all protective materials before you turn
on the printer.
There are several models of the printer designed for
different voltages, and it is not possible to adjust the
printer for use at another voltage. If the label on the back
of the printer does not show the correct voltage for your
country, contact your dealer.

Choosing a Place for the Printer

Follow the gu id elines below w hen selecting a location for you r
p rinter.
Place the p rinter on a flat, stable su rface. The p rinter w ill not
op erate p rop erly if it is tilted or at an angle.
Place the p rinter w here you can easily connect it to a netw ork
interface cable, if necessary.
Leave ad equ ate room arou nd the p rinter for easy op eration
and m aintenance.
Avoid u sing or storing the p rinter in p laces su bject to rap id
changes in tem p eratu re and hu m id ity. Also keep it aw ay from
d irect su nlight, strong light, heat sou rces, or excessive
m oistu re or d u st.
Avoid p laces su bject to shocks and vibrations.
Place the p rinter near a w all ou tlet w here you easily u np lu g
the p ow er cord .
