Actions at the time of Failure
Replacing the Compressor
Before replacing the compressor, refer to the Engineering Service Manual "Compressor
Replacement Procedure"
Caution
(1) Be sure to shut off the ground fault interrupter.
Note: Operation switch OFF does not shut off the crankcase heater.
(2) Replace the compressor with attaching the oil level switch. (Prevention of oil outflow)
(3) Connect compressor terminals U, V, and W with each lead wire as connected before. (For avoiding reverse phase)
[ U ― Red, V ― White, W ― Blue ]
(4) Install the crankcase heater at the specified position tightly contacting the compressor.
(5) Apply evacuation via the 1st stage discharge service valves of the compressor.
Method of Clearing the Alarm History
Operate the rotary switch (knob) and the DIP switch SW13 on the control PCB.
(1) Align the rotary switch (knob) with "Discharge (吐出)". Discharge gas temperature is displayed.
(2) Turn ON the DIP switch SW13-7 for activating "Back mode 2".
(3) Press the
button. All of alarm history is cleared.

(4) Turn OFF the DIP switch SW13-7.
(5) Set the rotary switch (knob) to "Alarm history (警報履歴)" position and confirm that "E - - -" is displayed, indicating that
the content has been cleared.
(6) Set the rotary switch (knob) back to "Operation (運転)" position.
