1. Loosen tapping screw holding down cable clamp
(Figure 18).
2. Rotate discharge chute to desired stopping
position.
3. Reposition cable, place under clamp and fasten
with tapping screw.

MULE DRIVE BELT TENSION
The idler spring should extend 4" inside hook to inside
hook. To change tension:
1. Remove clevis pin and hair pin from idler bracket
(Figure 19).
2. Move idler bracket to a lower set of holes to
increase tension. Move idler bracket to a higher
set of holes to decrease tension. Replace clevis
pin and hair pin.
Unit
Run with attachment engaged a few minutes after each
use to free unit of any loose or melting snow.
Inspect unit for visible signs of wear, breakage or
damage. Order any parts required and make
necessary repairs to avoid delays when beginning use
again.
Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight and know unit is in
safe working condition. Check all hardware at regular
intervals.
Clean unit thoroughly and lubricate (see Maintenance).
Paint all scratched surfaces and store in a cool, dry
protected area.
IMPORTANT: NEVER spray unit with water or store
unit outdoors.

LIFT LEVER
To adjust lift lever position:
1. Remove clevis pin and hair pin from lift tube and
lift lever clevis (Figure 14).
2. Turn clevis into lift tube to raise lift lever. Turn
clevis out of lift tube to lower lift lever.
NOTE: Adjusting clevis does not change height of
Sno-Thro housing.
3. Reassemble lift tube and lift lever. Fasten with
clevis pin and hair pin.
