The following chart will help you to identify and solve some of the basic operating problems that may occur while
operating this engine.
Do not attempt to service or replace major engine components, or any items that require special timing or
adjustment procedures. This work should be performed only by a KOHLER authorized distributor/dealer.

Check fuel supply.
Make sure fuel system is configured
properly for LPG or NG supply.
Check fuel system and clean
components as needed.
Check engine oil level; add as needed.
Disconnect or reduce loads.
Inspect, adjust, or replace as needed.
Check fuel supply.
Make sure fuel system is configured
properly for LPG or NG supply.
Make sure fuel supply valves are open;
check for air intake system leakage.
