CONNECTING POWER

You can power your cassette player with any of three
power sources:
• internal battery power
• standard AC power (with an optional AC adapter)
• vehicle battery power (with an optional DC
adapter)
Installing Batteries
You can use two AA batteries (not supplied) to power
your cassette player. For the best performance and
longest life, we recommend RadioShack alkaline bat-
teries.
Cautions:
• Use only fresh batteries of the required size and
recommended type.
• Do not mix old and new batteries, different types
of batteries (standard, alkaline, or rechargeable),
or rechargeable batteries of different capacities.
