Saving raw data

Purpose
This procedure explains how to store raw ME70 data.
Each sequence of raw data – often regarded as a "line"
during a survey – contains a set of acoustic data saved
on digital format.
Once saved, you can play back this data just as if it
was "normal" ME70 data, or use it for post-processing
purposes by third party programs.
Description
The ME70 allows you to record raw data directly onto the processor unit's hard disk,
or onto a peripheral disk in the same local area network. The recording is switched on
and off by means of the
dedicated button on the

Note
Raw data files will normally become very large. If you wish to record large amounts of
ME70 raw data, make sure that you have enough space on you hard disk. Unless your
computer is equipped with a very large disk capacity, we recommend that you save the
raw data to an external storage device.
